An Observational Prospective Study Examining the Diversification of the Pregnant Vaginal Microbiome (Microbiome)

In this multi-site, observational prospective study of pregnant people and their infants, we will assess the timing of pregnancy diversification of the vaginal microbiome. We will also explore the driving hormonal and immunological influences on vaginal microbiome diversification as well as the mother to infant microbiome transfer based on the diversification of the vaginal microbiome.

BEATRIX: A Study to Learn About a Group B Streptococcus Vaccine in Healthy Pregnant Women and Their Babies

The purpose of this study is to gather safety information, meaning the type and frequency of any possible side effects in pregnant women and their infants when the GBS6 is given. This study will also assess the ability of GBS6 to stimulate an immune response by measuring the antibodies against the 6 most common serotypes of GBS.

Effectiveness of Two Aspirin Doses for Prevention of Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy: ASPIRIN TRIAL (ASPIRIN)

The overall goal of this large, pragmatic, comparative effectiveness trial is to test the hypothesis that among at-risk individuals, 162 mg/day aspirin is superior to 81 mg/day in preventing Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), and that there are multiple factors associated with adherence with aspirin therapy that will be important to identify to enable optimal implementation of study findings and population-level benefits.
