The Vanguard Study: Testing a New Way to Screen for Cancer

This study is being done to answer the following question:
How do two new types of blood screening tests for cancer, called multi-cancer detection (MCD) tests work for people who are eligible to be screened for cancer?
This study is the first part of a larger plan to evaluate how well these MCD tests work across different communities in the United States, for detecting a number of different cancers.

A Phase 1/2 Study to Evaluate the Safety, Bioavailability, and Effect of Topically Administered ATR04-484 for Moderate to Severe EGFRi-Associated Dermal Toxicity (ATR04-EGFR-101)

This research study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the investigational study drug, ATR04-484, as a possible treatment for dermal toxicity associated with EGFRi treatment. If you have a moderate to severe skin reaction that your doctor recognizes is due to the EGFRi medication you receive for cancer, you may be able to participate in this study.

AN OPEN-LABEL PHASE IB/II STUDY OF RP1 IN SOLID ORGAN AND HEMATOPOIETIC CELL TRANSPLANT RECIPIENTS WITH ADVANCED CUTANEOUS MALIGNANCIES [ARTACUS] RPL-003-19

This study involves skin cancer treatment for patients who have had either a kidney, liver, heart and/or a lung or other solid organ transplant or a hematopoietic cell transplant. 


This trial is being done to look at the effects of RP1 in kidney, liver, heart, lung, solid organ and hematopoietic cell transplant recipients with advanced skin cancer. RP1 is a herpes simplex virus (a microscopic life form commonly known as the "cold sore virus") that has been genetically changed to allow the virus to grow and destroy cancer cells, spread selectively from tumor cell to tumor cell, and activate the immune system to attack cancer cells. RP1 has also been genetically changed so that it cannot divide efficiently in normal cells.

A Randomized, Phase III Trial of Pre-Operative Window of Endocrine Therapy to Inform Radiation Therapy Decisions in Older Women with Early-Stage Breast Cancer (POWER II)

The purpose of this study is to find out if patients receiving endocrine therapy before the lumpectomy (and to better understand how they tolerate the drug(s)) would result in fewer patients receiving breast cancer surgery alone (no radiation or endocrine therapy) and fewer patients receiving breast cancer surgery plus radiation and endocrine therapy.

A Phase III Randomized Trial of Dose Escalated Radiation in Locally Advanced Pancreas Cancer (LAPC) Patients (LAP100)

This study is being done to answer the following question:  

Can the addition of a high dose of radiation therapy extend life or improve quality of life?  

We are doing this study because we want to find out if this approach is better or worse than the usual approach for locally advanced pancreatic cancer.  The usual approach is defined as care most people get for locally advanced pancreatic cancer. 

A Phase 3 Randomized, Open-label, Multicenter Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Sacituzumab Tirumotecanin Combination with Pembrolizumab Versus Pembrolizumab Alone as First-line Maintenance Treatment in Participants with Mismatch Repair Proficient Endometrial Cancer

Researchers are looking for new ways to treat people with proficient mismatch repair (pMMR) endometrial cancer (EC) that is advanced or recurrent.

EC is a type of cancer that starts in the tissues inside the uterus (womb)
pMMR indicates that certain normal proteins are present in the cancer cells
Advanced means the cancer has spread locally or to other parts of the body (metastatic) and cannot be removed with surgery
Recurrent means the cancer came back after surgery

Sacituzumab tirumotecan (also known as sac-TMT) and pembrolizumab are the study medicines. Sac-TMT is an antibody drug conjugate (ADC). An ADC attaches to specific targets on cancer cells and delivers treatment to destroy those cells.

The goal of this study is to learn if people who receive sac-TMT with pembrolizumab live longer and without the cancer getting worse compared to people who receive pembrolizumab alone.
